The Flagmakers Group can supply a full range of fibreglass flagpoles made from a mixture of gl
assfibre matt and polyester resin.
Our glassfibre flagpoles are highly resistant, maintenance free and are made with a thicker conically shaped wall incorporating a wider taper for added strength.
As manufacturers we stock a wide range of standard sizes from 3m to 18m. We are equally happy to manufacture to the exact specifications of the customer.
All our flagpoles have a smooth high-white gel-coat finish We can colour poles to meet RAL codes should the customer require this. The colour is impregnated into the gel-coat so it won't scratch off.
Three standard models available:
External Halyard System
Consisting of a gold coloured onion finial at the top complete with revolving saddle, halyard and cleat.
Anti-Vandal System
The Guardlock internal halyard system, which minimises the risk of flag theft on ground-mounted poles is available on all flagpoles Designed to enhance flag security, the halyard runs from a lockable access door up the inside of the pole and emerges below the finial for connecting to the flag and weight.
Banner Arm Flagpoles Banner arm flagpoles come complete with a horizontal arm at the top of the pole. The arm turns through 360 degrees allowing the flag to be fully displayed with or without any wind.

Ground Mounted
Hinged Baseplate
Ground mounted poles are available complete with our own hinged baseplate designed to allow the flagpole to be easily raised or lowered, irrespective of length.
Fixed Baseplate
We can also provide a fixed baseplate where required
Ground Tube Fixing
For specific projects fixing via a ground tube may be required or preferred. Further information is available from our Designeam
Bespoke Fixing
We can manufacture our poles to your exact specifications and where required to fit onto existing support structures or ground fixings such as tabernacles.
Wall Mounted
There are two standards available for wall mounted poles:
Vertical Wall Mountings
We manufacture vertical wall mounted flagpoles from 3m up to 12m tall. As your preferred pole heights may need to vary due to location, wall condition, amongst other reasons, we would advise direct consultation with our Sales Teams
Angled Wall Mountings
We offer two popular unstayed mountings for glassfibre flagpoles at 45 degrees and 60 degrees from the vertical
All flagpoles above 4m in length with angled wall brackets require support stays. These can be supplied in line with your specifications as an extra

Finials
Standard flagpoles are provided with our own gold coloured onion shaped finial. We can, however, provide the alternatives as follows:
- White onion shaped finial
- White mushroom top
- Custom designed finials

Ground Collars
White aluminium ground collars can be used as an attractive optional extra to cover the hinged baseplate and are available to suit all sizes of flagpole
Anti-Vandal Systems
Anti-vandal systems can be installed on site by our installers, preventing the theft of your flags in your absence

When looking at prices between different suppliers, compare the naked flagpole weights quoted. Lighter poles use less glassfibre and have thinner walls. They are less durable and more likely to break.
Our poles are guaranteed because they use thicker walls, a wider taper and strong steel bolts and bases.
