l. Recommended size of foundation. - see below.
2. Set bolts into concrete with 75 mm. above finished level of foundation. Use bottom half of hinged plate as a template for the position of the bolts. Set bolts into the concrete using a nut at the bottom of the bolt to give an extra key in the concrete.
3. When concrete is hardened (4/5 days), bolt bottom of hinqe plate onto the bases (concrete foundation). Then place four nuts (1 per bolt) loose just above the nuts for the hinge plate.
4. Attach flagpole baseplate to the bottom half of the plate which is now bolted down.
5. Raise flaqpole into position. Make flaqpole safe with nuts and washers, then use nuts on underside of pole base to true pole to the vertical. Once achieved, lock off with nuts on topside of baseplate.
